The 2nd annual Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival, October 15-22
– celebrating the rich scientific, technological, and engineering fabric of our
region -- is a collaboration of
organizations, businesses, and resources from across the Pikes Peak area coming together to present an 8-day lineup of science-related events and activities appealing to the inquisitive mind
in all of us. Kicking off with our signature Science Carnival Day at UCCS on Saturday, October 15th residents and visitors of our region will be able to engage throughout the week in a wide array of informal science activities, events, seminars, tours and general fun.

The Colorado Springs Science Center Project is a private, non-profit organized to build a premier science center for the inquisitive minds of the Pikes Peak Region and Southern Colorado.
Cool Science Inc. gets Pikes Peak area students, parents and teachers engaged in exciting hands-on activities and workshops designed to provide intimidation-free opportunities to explore the joy of science and engineering.
The Center for STEM education develops and analyzes programs that attract and retains students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers.
BSCS develops inquire-based science curriculum, including textbooks.
